This article aims to apply ADS-80 sensor data with high spatial resolution of 40 cm for mapping forest fragments in three administrative areas of urban area in the city Manaus. Images were acquired on 28 and 29 October 2012, the direction of flight was from east to west, with side covering standard 20% range, each band with the size of 40 km long and 4.59 km wide, with pixel size of 40cm. In total, it was used five images, collected in the form of segments in rgb with spectral data from the area of the visible and near infrared. The results were obtained by supervised classification; the algorithm used for this was the classifier Support Vector Machine (SVM) with definition of three thematic classes (Forest, not Forest and Shade). For evaluating the performance of the classification algorithm, the results were analyzed based on the error matrix (or confusion matrix), giving a good results on the discrimination of targets with a total classification accuracy of 97.67%. Spatial analysis and individual metrics were held in hectares (ha), the largest fragment detected, corresponding to 611.05 ha located in the south of the urban area of Manaus. The result is presented in a map scale of 1: 70.000 with representation of the fragments in 3 (three) administrative areas mapped.
